Replica of the Copa de Oro %0th anniversary of the 1st World Cup
The World Champions' Gold Cup (Spanish: Copa de Oro de Campeones Mundiales , English: World Champions' Gold Cup ), better known as the Mundialito or Mundialito 1980, was an international invitational football tournament played in Montevideo, Uruguay, from 30 December 1980 to 10 January 1981.
The competition saw the participation of six national teams, five of which were those that, at the time, had won the World Cup at least once, and was organized to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the 1930 World Cup, the first in history, which was held on Uruguayan soil.
